Job Title: Marketing/Admissions Liaison

Job Description:

Public Relations:

  • Collect and respond to all inquiries, whether in person or by telephone, and convert them into admissions when possible.
  • Identify and develop working relationships with community partners.
  • Represent the facility to the larger community, including delivering speeches and presenting programs on aging and health care to various community organizations.
  • Visit residents in hospitals or at home prior to transfer to the facility. Monitor community perception and manage the facility's position in the community.

Marketing:

  • Maintain relationships with area physicians, social service departments, hospital discharge planners, governmental agencies, bank trust officers, lawyers, clergy, industrial health programs, insurance carriers, HMOs, and other professionals or groups that may influence inquiries.
  • Communicate with these groups to educate and build awareness of the facility's scope of services.

Customer Service:

  • Coordinate all resident admissions, including transportation, obtaining proper admissions paperwork, communicating with residents, families, and facility staff, and appropriate follow-up.
  • Assist in obtaining resident medical records and information from hospitals, doctors' offices, etc.
  • Help residents and families adjust to the new environment by working closely with all departments.
  • Assist families and residents in understanding facility policies and procedures and charges for services rendered.
  • Follow up with residents and families to ensure satisfaction with the service.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
