Key Position Details:
* This is a remote hybrid position (Candidate must live within commuting distance to attend occasional meetings at the commons)
* 1.0 FTE (80 hours per 2-week pay period)

Job Description:
Provides counsel to business partners on marketing and communications strategy. Evaluates competitive landscapes and target audiences to find strategic position and growth potential. Develops and executes strategic marketing and communication plans. Thinks in terms of solutions that blend marketing, communications, brand strategy, technology, creative and data to drive desired perceptions and behaviors for both consumers and employees. Requires professional experience and knowledge to independently solve issues of diverse scope and complexity. Regularly mentoring and training other team members is a component of this position.
Principle Responsibilities
* Consulting.
* Serves as a strategic partner to business unit/ system office project teams to deliver effective marketing and communications that support business objectives and drive and/or maintain consumer growth and volumes as well as employee engagement.
* Shares professional knowledge and experience to aid executives in solving problems of diverse scope and substantial complexity.
* Strategic planning.
* Analyzes past business performance and goals.
* Translates business goals and priorities into marketing and communication strategies.
* Develops marketing and communication plans and strategies for assigned business units, functions, projects and/or campaigns.
* Creates and executes on the development of plans and strategies for general campaigns and business unit needs.
* Proactively partners with appropriate communication vehicle owners to deploy communications.
* Writing and Materials Production.
* Creates messaging and materials for large-scale projects and complex ongoing communication needs. This may include presentations, articles, background documents and Q&A.
* Partners with leaders to translate key business issues and priorities into messages that are understood by/resonate with audiences at all levels.
* Connects themes and use relationship-oriented messaging/storytelling that contributes to a culture of transparency.
* Ensures company brand, graphic identity and writing style guide requirements are maintained in visual and written materials.
* Process and support.
* Develops and helps to oversee communication channels and processes.
* Contributes to processes that help enhance structures and process improvements in communications prioritization, measurement, and deployment.
* Crisis Management
* Participates in crisis communications on-call rotation.
* Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or related field
* 7+ years experience in internal/external communication and/or change management communications

Pay Range
Pay Range: $40.37 to $55.85 per hour
The pay described reflects the base hiring pay range. Your starting rate would depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, your experience, education, and the union agreement (if applicable). Shift, weekend and/or other differentials may be available to increase your pay rate for certain shifts or work.
