Position Type: Full-timePay: $60,000 - $63,000 per year, dependent on experience and educationBenefits: 457b plan, and matching; Medical coverage and 100% deductible coverage through HRA; Dental coverage; Vision coverage; Life insurance; Paid time off; Parental leave; Tuition Reimbursement; Monthly Remote Work Stipend; Supplemental Retirement plan, and more.Work Location: HybridMarketing and Communications Coordinator The Marketing and Communications Coordinator will play a key role in supporting MassCEC's marketing and communications operations, with a focus on organizing sponsorship activities, managing internal and external documentation, coordinating event logistics, and assisting with various projects as assigned. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented, organized individual with a passion for clean energy, climatetech, marketing, and communications and a willingness to learn.The Marketing and Communications Coordinator should be prepared to contribute to a steady flow of work for ongoing projects while also helping to address short-term requests that require a quick turnaround. The Marketing and Communications Coordinator will report to the VP of Marketing and Communications, while working closely with the marketing and communications team, the operations team, program teams, and occasionally members of the senior and executive staff including the CEO, and other state agencies.Responsibilities: Coordinate logistics for marketing events and promotional activities, including staffing events as needed.Manage inventory of collateral and promotional items.Assist with the management of digital marketing channels, including social media accounts, website content updates, and email marketing campaigns.Assist in coordinating written content for marketing materials, including printed collateral, press releases, social media posts, and more.Assist with monitoring and analyzing the performance of marketing campaigns and initiatives, compiling reports, and providing insights to optimize future strategies.Coordinate the layout and proofing of MassCEC's publications, including newsletters, brochures, and other collateral.Manage department subscriptions to news outlets, trade publications, and journals.Support external graphic design and production partners in delivering creative services.Assist in developing case studies, multimedia projects, and photo content for MassCEC's communications and marketing efforts.Provide administrative assistance to marketing and communications team, including scheduling meetings, maintaining databases, and managing marketing-related documentation.Assist with other projects and tasks as assigned by the VP of Marketing and Communications, Sr. Manager of Communications, and Directors of Marketing.Manage internal marketing request submissions and ensure that tasks are created in Trello.Identify and suggest solutions to address operational inefficiencies.Qualifications: 2+ years of relevant experience in marketing, communications or related field. Excellent communication, organization and interpersonal skills.Familiarity with digital media platforms, including social media, blogs, and websites.Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Flexibility to staff occasional evening and weekend events.Ability to lift 20-30 pounds.Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, public relations, marketing or related field preferred.Valid driver's license; personal vehicle a plus.About the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center: The Massachusetts Clean Energy Center (MassCEC), as a quasi-public entity, plays a critical role in fostering the success of our state's clean energy sector.
