Full-time Marketing and Communications Manager Position Description Citnalta Construction Corp. is looking for a bright, motivated individual with a passion for driving brand recognition and corporate communications to be our Marketing and Communications Manager. The ideal candidate will be a go-getter with a strong interest in the construction industry. This candidate must be organized, detailed and task oriented with an ability to approach assignments independently, experienced with marketing and communications and have excellent written and verbal communications skills. The goal is to enhance Citnalta's brand through marketing, communications, organization, and planning. Your focus will be to present Citnalta as a premier general contractor and design-builder through innovative marketing and communications techniques. You will report to the Proposal and Marketing Manager. Primary Responsibilities
- Manages internal and external corporate communications and marketing initiatives
- Contributes to Citnalta's overall brand and culture strategy, enhancing and boasting Citnalta's corporate values of integrity, professionalism and inclusion
- Develop and maintain a corporate strategy for public relations
- Monitor Citnalta in the press and save articles in our press library
- Develop Citnalta's seasonal newsletter
- Manage Citnalta's weekly corporate communications emails using MailChimp (or similar service as appropriate)
- Monitor the Citnalta Marketing email and Communications email
- Craft creative social media posts and website stories which align with Citnalta's core values, including using strategic language, photos and videos.
- Manage a social media calendar for all three of Citnalta's platforms - LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram and update as necessary
- Manage and update Citnalta's website using Wix (or similar service as appropriate)
- Responsible for taking job site photos and videos as well as event photos based on project schedules, events and milestones, as well as attending project milestone events.
- Maintain a photo library of all project progress photographs, event photos, and finished job photos for use in marketing materials
- Assist in the development of company presentations
- Develop responsive industry award submissions and manage the submission process
- Gather project information from field teams to be use in marketing materials and proposals and stored in Citnalta's project files
- Perform Citnalta Events functions including strategizing for upcoming internal and external events and performing administrative tasks such as sending invitations, creating flyers and collecting RSVPs
- Support the proposal department in the development of proposal graphics or infographics, presentations, and formatting proposals using InDesign
Position Requirements:
- This person must be able to build rapport with coworkers, vendors and subs
- Attention to detail is critical. Must be able to proofread and copywrite materials
- Deadline driven with the ability to approach assignments independently and as a team member
- Must be organized, detailed and task oriented with strong critical thinking skills.
- Strong computer skills with the ability to learn new programs as required by the position
- Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, OneDrive, SharePoint, Teams, Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience with Adobe Acrobat and InDesign as well as Canva
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Degree in Marketing, Public Relations or Communications, or sufficient experience performing these functions
- Strong understanding of Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn
- Able to provide marketing or communications samples upon request.
- Periodic travel to project sites in Manhattan, Brooklyn, The Bronx, Queens and Long Island when requested.
Additional Desired Qualifications:
- Intermediate proficiency with Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Premier
- Understanding of Hootsuite and Meta
- Experience using and working in Wix, Mailchimp and Canva
