Bachelor's degree in mass communications or another related field and five (5) years of appropriate experience with three (3) years of experience related to the development and dissemination of informational material.

Special Conditions

The department is especially interested in candidates with experience with preparing and managing department budgets and meeting goals.

Work Schedule

Monday - Friday

8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Must have the ability to work flexible hours as needed, including some evenings and weekends as warranted by School of Music events.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, use hands to handle or feel, and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to walk.

The employee is occasionally required to stand, reach with hands and arms, and stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.

Excellent customer service skills.

Computer literacy in multimedia software applications.

A background in music is preferred, but not required.

Must be able to competently and professionally complete the duties and responsibilities assigned. May be required to develop and facilitate presentations.
