We are seeking a dynamic and creative Marketing and Digital Content Lead to join the team. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker with a passion for digital marketing and content creation. You will be responsible for developing, curating, and executing engaging content across various digital channels, including social media, websites, email marketing, and more. You will work closely with executive team to ensure consistent brand messaging, drive engagement, and support overall marketing initiatives.Compensation: $90,000 - $95,000 DOE Location: Purcellville, VA - hybridSchedule: Monday - Friday, standard hours (HYBRID - 3 home 2 in-office)Marketing and Digital Content Lead Responsibilities:
- Content Strategy & Planning: Develop and execute a comprehensive content marketing strategy that supports brand goals and drives digital engagement. Identify key opportunities for content that resonates with target audiences and maximizes ROI.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other marketing functions to ensure alignment with overall marketing campaigns and brand messaging.
- Content Creation & Distribution: Oversee the creation of compelling content (written, visual, video, etc.) for digital platforms including social media, email, blogs, website, and paid ads. Ensure content is optimized for SEO, user experience, and platform-specific best practices.
- Digital Campaigns: Plan, execute, and optimize integrated digital marketing campaigns across various channels to increase brand visibility, drive engagement, and support lead generation efforts.
- Analytics & Performance Tracking: Use analytics tools to monitor and report on the performance of digital content, identifying trends and insights that inform future strategies. Regularly assess the effectiveness of campaigns and make data-driven adjustments.
- SEO & Digital Marketing Optimization: Optimize website content and digital assets for SEO, ensuring content ranks highly in search engines and contributes to organic traffic growth. Stay current with digital marketing trends, tools, and technologies.
- Brand Consistency: Maintain a consistent and cohesive brand voice across all digital content and ensure that all marketing materials align with the brand's values and positioning.
Marketing and Digital Content Lead Education/Experience/Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or related field.
- 4+ years of experience in digital marketing, content creation, or a related role, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management capacity.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful digital marketing and content strategies.
- Strong understanding of SEO, SEM, email marketing, social media platforms, and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush, Hootsuite, etc.).
- Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills, with the ability to craft engaging, clear, and persuasive content.
- Experience with MAC OS.
- Creative, results-oriented, and able to think strategically while executing tactically.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, start-up environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred:
- Experience in video production or graphic design.
- Familiarity with paid digital advertising (Google Ads, Facebook Ads, etc.).
- Passion for staying up-to-date with the latest digital marketing and content trends.
