Marketing Associate is responsible for a variety of marketing and analysis activities for the area of assigned responsibility. This is a full-time position and reports to the Marketing Manager. This position is in office located in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES - Assist with marketing research, product launches, brand promotions, and test markets
- Implement marketing campaigns, including product positioning, campaign strategies, and market insights
- Attend product knowledge and marketing communication strategy meetings with the marketing team every week
- Day to day updating of website content
- Work with the marketing team to create social media campaigns and creative assets
- Maintain resort social media sites to include the creation of timely and engaging content and graphics. Also, respond timely to social media questions/comments
- Monitor website and other marketing-related data analytics
- Take, edit and enhance digital photos and videos and handle posting to sites
- Edit video footage to create marketing videos for use on multiple platforms
- Identify marketing & business opportunities for revenue along with weaknesses in existing employed marketing strategies needing to be over-turned
- Communicate with management on projects dealing with media relations, business communications, etc
- Participate in staff and training meetings
- Participate in other projects and activities as assigned
EDUCATION/TRAINING/EXPERIENCE - Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in marketing, communications, advertising, and/or journalism is preferred

Pay Range: $18 - $21 per hour
