Conveniently located off I-91, Petra Construction has an opening for a Marketing and Business Development Manager. Reporting to the president, core responsibilities of this position will include the following: Work with team leads to develop and produce detailed qualifications/proposal submissions; Prepare shortlist interview presentations and leave-behinds; Organize and maintain marketing collaterals such as personnel resumes, project profiles, proposal content databases; Strategize and prepare project and safety award submissions; Establish, maintain, and grow relationships with clients; Develop and foster relationships with business referral sources; Coordinate and participate in various A/E/C industry events, including SMPS CT; Maintain the company's website via Squarespace; Manage the CRM system; Implement and coordinate email marketing campaigns and social media; Create and publish internal company newsletter and serve on the Petra Events Committee; Coordinate project photography; Ensure and maintain brand consistency internally and externally. Required Skills/ Experience Our ideal candidate for this position will demonstrate: Minimum of 5-7 years of related experience, preferably within the A/E/C industry; Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field preferred; Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop) and Microsoft Office required; Strong spirit of teamwork and outstanding, collaborative, interpersonal skills; Exceptional technical writing and editing skills; Solid graphic design skills; Data organization skills, CRM experience a plus; Ability to manage and prioritize multiple proposals, projects, and deadlines in a high-energy environment; Familiarity with social media as it pertains to business communications; Highly motivated, organized, and detail oriented.
