ImOn Communications has been the LOCAL choice for high-speed Internet, cable TV, and phone in Eastern Iowa since 2007. Since then, we have expanded our network to provide fiber Internet services to more than a dozen communities in Iowa and beyond! As we grow our network, we are looking for a Marketing Campaign Strategist to join our team.

We are looking for an experienced, data-driven Marketing Campaign Strategist to lead the development, execution, and optimization of multi-channel marketing campaigns that drives customer acquisition and increase lifetime value of customers. As a key member of the marketing team, you will be responsible for creating comprehensive campaign strategies that align with business goals, using a mix of digital, social, content, and traditional channels.

The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and a passion for developing innovative marketing campaigns that deliver measurable results. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure campaigns resonate with target audiences and achieve maximum impact.

Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

1. Campaign Strategy Development:

  • Design and implement multi-channel marketing campaigns that drive customer acquisition, retention, and support the overall business objectives.
  • Analyze and define target audiences, develop personas, and craft tailored marketing strategies to capture prospective customers and engage existing customers.
  • Leverage insights from market research, customer data, and competitor analysis to inform campaign strategy and messaging.
  • Collaborate with teams across content, digital, design, and sales, to develop messaging and creative assets that are aligned with brand positioning and resonate with target audiences

2. Campaign Management & Execution:

  • Manage the end-to-end execution of marketing campaigns, by strategically allocating resources across various marketing channels and optimizing channel performance to achieve business objectives.
  • Develop and implement lead generation strategies to drive qualified leads into the buying funnel, while continually optimizing efforts through a test, measure, learn framework.
  • Develop detailed campaign plans with timelines, budgets, and resource requirements, ensuring all deliverables are on track and within scope.
  • Utilize the HubSpot platform (or similar marketing automation tools) to manage and automate marketing campaigns, including workflows, email lead nurturing and lead scoring.

3. Conversion Rate Optimization:

  • Continuously improve conversion rates at various stages of the marketing funnel.
  • Implement A/B testing, analyze user behavior and make data-driven optimizations from these results to landing pages, forms and other conversion points.

4. Data & Performance Analysis:

  • Monitor and analyze the performance of campaigns using metrics such as ROI, conversion rates, customer acquisition cost (CAC), and cohort penetration rates.
  • Provide regular reporting on campaign performance, along with actionable insights and recommendations for improvement.

5. Collaboration & Communication:

  • Act as a key liaison between the marketing department and other teams, ensuring alignment on campaign objectives and execution.
  • Partner with external agencies, vendors, and platforms to execute paid media campaigns, influencer partnerships, or event activations.
  • Communicate campaign strategies, progress, and results to stakeholders and senior leadership through presentations and reports.

6. Budget Management:

  • Track and report on campaign spending, providing recommendations for cost optimization when necessary.

Requirements

We are looking for people with:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • At least 4 years of experience in marketing strategy, campaign management, or related roles.
  • Proven ability to develop effective marketing campaigns that achieve new customer growth goals and maximize customer lifetime value.
  • Strong understanding of multi-channel marketing strategies, including digital, email, social media, content, and paid advertising.
  • Proficiency with marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo) and analytics tools (Google Analytics, CRM systems).
  • Experience with A/B testing and performance optimization techniques.
  • Expertise in data analysis, campaign optimization, and audience segmentation techniques.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong analytical skills, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
