Cameron St. Harrisburg, PA 17101Pay: $50,000 - $60,000 per yearThis position is responsible for managing and organizing the flow of MarComm projects through the marketing system, tracking details and taking the lead to ensure deadlines are adhered to and project execution is complete. A primary responsibility is maintaining all aspects of social media. This position reports to the Marketing Manager. This position receives general supervision and works within established guidelines.Some of the ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Maintain all aspects of social media including: responding to inquiries, moderating comments, messages and reviews, creating & implementing the monthly schedule, setting up, overseeing and tracking all social ad campaigns under the Marketing Manager's insight. Write, edit and proofread various types of content, including material for website(s), press releases, marketing material and other types of contact that take the message to the public.Performs public relations tasks including maintaining media and partner contacts and drafting press releasesCompiles metrics and reporting data for the MarComm Department.Moderates all user-generated content.Helps to develop, design and track internal marketing materials such as employee memos, flyers/posters, and electronic boards & assists with making edits to Wordpress websites.Assists in Media planning and buying for the MarComm Department.Assist other departments with communication, as needed.Achieves organization's financial goals by enforcing budgets and evaluating costs during applicable project coordination.Collaborates with Human Resources to organize various staff engagement initiatives and events in coordination with the Executive Assistant.Drive business development activity across all service areas. Seek out opportunities for strategic partnerships and collaboration. Review service and community transportation needs to ascertain innovative ideas to access new markets in addition to identifying partners along existing service lines.Leads effort to foster a positive image and increase the public and community support for public transportation by coordinating and organizing special events, outreach activities, public information programs/campaigns and conducting presentations to internal and external audiences throughout all 11 counties. Provides information to external audiences regarding available services, qualification criteria and procedures for using all modes Preserves historical reference by establishing and maintaining a record-keeping system, documenting procedures and decisions, maintaining required documentation, and ensuring delivery of documents as necessary. Compiles and maintains a procedure system and organized office to ensure continuity of positionQUALIFICATIONSBachelor's Degree required in Marketing, Communications, Writing, or related field. A minimum of five to seven years Marketing experience in a professional setting. Ability to prioritize numerous tasks. Flexible, capable of working under pressure. Quick to learn new ideas and procedures.Readily adapt to changing types of Authority customers (internal and external) and services provided by the Authority.Energetic, upbeat, team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Self-starter, capable of identifying problems within own area of responsibility and taking action to correct them and forward others to proper area(s) for resolution.Manage and monitor special assignments. Excellent attention to detail and follow-through. Possess a pro-company attitude and a willingness to attend work-related training and education programs.Certificates and Licenses Required: Must possess valid motor vehicle operator's license that is not under suspension or revocation, and possess current automobile insurance coverage.
