Day-to-Day

* Develops and executes strategic communication plans that amplify Volunteers of America Texas's objectives and initiatives.

* Crafts compelling content for digital and print platforms, including websites, social media, newsletters, press releases, and marketing materials.

* Supports media relations efforts by drafting press releases, pitching stories, and responding to media inquiries.

* Collaborates with program staff to gather success stories, testimonials, and client achievements.

* Ensures consistency in messaging and branding across all digital channels.

* Creates and curates engaging content for digital platforms, including written content, graphics, photos, videos, and other multimedia assets.

* Manages social media accounts and engage with followers to foster community, raise awareness, and encourage support.

* Monitor and analyze digital performance metrics to track effectiveness and optimize strategies.

QUALIFICATIONS

* Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.

* Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in communications, public relations, marketing, or digital marketing, preferably in the nonprofit sector.

* Valid Texas Drivers' License, clear MVR, and ability to be insured
