Role Summary: Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the Marketing Communications Specialist is a key member of the Marketing Team. The person in this role will be responsible for the creation of and deployment of marketing assets supporting The Kendall Group's key partner programs and brand initiatives.
Exciting work you will do: The essential duties and responsibilities of the Marketing Communications Specialist position will consist of, but are not limited to, the following: Vendor Program Support / Regular Cadence Communications
- Assist with developing, implementing, and reporting on marketing plans for vendor program partners including flyers, website banners, social media, email, events, and digital display boards
- Create and maintain Marketing files assets for key vendor partners: Organize, update, and manage all marketing-related documents and files to ensure easy access and retrieval for broader marketing team and field team when applicable
- Lead creation and distribution of digital newsletters sent weekly, monthly, and quarterly for various parts of the business implementing best practices and increasing subscriptions
- Work with Marketing team members on documentation of promotional materials created and shared in support of key supplier programs to streamline reporting and funding submittals
- Work with supplier teams and Field Marketing Strategists to leverage applicable supplier content and ensure all supplier usage/brand guidelines are being followed
- Increase brand recognition through communication of the corporate value proposition(s) via email, web, print, and other channels
Asset and Collateral Creation
- Write and design compelling and consistent brand messages for various marketing assets including emails, newsletters, website content, landing pages, brochures, videos, banner ads, social media, and branding elements
- Effectively communicate complex messages in a variety of communication forms to varying audiences
- Support event marketing and sales promotion needs with material creation such as print collateral, signage, forms, web and email promotion, and social media content
- Work with E-commerce team to design visually compelling assets, icons, and banner ads for use across our desktop and mobile responsive website
- Develop appropriate website content and landing pages, ensuring best practices are followed (working with in-house or external partners)
- Maintain good working knowledge of platforms (creative, CMS, marketing automation, CRM, social publishing) and tools utilized in content creation and deployment

What you'll need:
- Work Experience: Entry Level
- Education: Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field, or commensurate experience
- Analytics/Computer Skills: High competency in Microsoft Office products (e.g. Word, Excel, etc.); experience working with design platforms and tools; knowledge of digital communication channels and measurement practices; experience working in email or marketing automation platforms
- Organization Skills: Highly organized and detail oriented; ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment
- Cross-functional skills: Ability to work effectively independently and in a team environment; High degree of creativity and ability to translate information from product and technical teams into customer focused/friendly language
- Communication Skills: Excellent listening, written and verbal communication skills as well as copywriting and proofreading skills; proficiency in design, writing, editing, and project management;
