The Content Marketing Manager Role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Content Marketing Manager to join our growing marketing team. In this role, you'll collaborate with innovative marketers to develop and execute a content strategy that aligns with Inveniv's go-to-market goals.

You'll be responsible for creating premium content that empowers our clients to act, drives SEO performance, and is ready for amplification across email, social media, and other channels. Additionally, you'll produce Inveniv-branded content, such as blogs and podcasts, to establish us as a trusted resource for helping clients achieve meaningful growth.

This is a contract-to-hire, full-time hybrid position requiring three in-office days per week at our Apex, NC headquarters.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Manage the creation and execution of content, social media, and other types of promotional strategies, including maintaining an editorial calendar.
  • Develop and optimize various content types: blog posts, white papers, infographics, videos, landing pages, emails, marketing collateral, and sales materials such as presentations.
  • Conduct market research and persona development to create content that addresses customer needs strategically.
  • Provide training and guidance to support content and social strategies.
  • Establish, evaluate, and refine content strategies for efficiency, resource management, and best practices.
  • Leverage AI tools and SEO best practices to enhance content visibility and effectiveness.
  • Stay current on industry trends, advancements, and client challenges to inform strategy.
  • Offer innovative perspectives during editorial meetings to engage target audiences and drive results.
  • Work within the HubSpot marketing platform to create and build marketing campaigns. This may include, but is not limited to, list segmentation, automation workflows, email campaigns, development of forms, CTAs, and landing pages, social media and blog posts — along with building and updating web pages utilizing existing templates and resources.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have the following:

  • A bachelor's degree (or higher) in a related field from an accredited institution.
  • 3–5 years of experience in B2B content strategy development and execution.
  • Strong understanding of SEO best practices, with experience creating keyword-driven content that improves rankings.
  • Hands-on experience with HubSpot marketing tools (HubSpot certifications are a plus).
  • A creative portfolio showcasing campaign, digital, and print work (portfolio submission required).

Portfolio Requirement

Candidates must submit an online portfolio demonstrating their expertise across areas such as marketing campaigns, advertising, branding, and internal/external communications.
