As the Marketing Coordinator at Champlain Centre, you will serve as the sole marketing leader for the property, driving digital marketing, event planning, community engagement, and local leasing support. You will develop a robust omnichannel digital strategy (social media, email, video, SMS) emphasizing influencer and business development partnerships. You will also plan and execute programming and initiatives targeting youth, families, artists, and seniors while collaborating with the Local Leasing Manager to support leasing efforts. Additionally, you will foster tenant relationships, enhance guest experiences, and create marketing strategies to drive revenue and achieve property goals.

To succeed, you should have:

  • A Bachelor's degree is required, along with 2+ years of marketing or related experience.
  • Solid understanding of digital ads, including Facebook/Instagram campaigns and retargeting.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and timelines with attention to detail.
  • Exceptional communication skills and ability to work effectively with marketing teams, tenants, and vendors.
  • Willingness to work event shifts (nights, weekends, holidays) and travel as needed.

Your responsibilities as the Marketing Coordinator – Champlain Centre will include:

  • Marketing Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement comprehensive, research-based marketing strategies, including digital campaigns, content creation, targeted ads, and event coordination to drive traffic, sales, and brand visibility.
  • Digital Media Management: Create, execute, and measure strategic digital initiatives, including social media, influencer collaborations, and digital ads, while maintaining a robust content program (photos, videos, captions).
  • Tenant & Community Engagement: Build relationships with tenants, manage communications, and coordinate participation in center programs while overseeing community relations and special events.
  • Operational Oversight: Act as Manager on Duty (MOD) as needed, oversee daily operations, coordinate signage/visual displays, and ensure production schedules for advertising/printed materials are met.
  • Reporting & Public Relations: Draft press releases, handle event recaps, track retailer sales trends, and ensure reporting accuracy for marketing performance and key metrics.
