Open year round, the Inn is a five-minute stroll from Chatham's charming Main Street and within a short drive of all Cape Cod has to offer.The Marketing Coordinator must have a desire for creative excellence, unique content development and great organizational skills. The person in this position will report to the Director of Marketing and will assist with public relations, sales, marketing and resort communications. This role will be responsible for administrative tasks and the coordination of email communications, print, digital and online content support. Experience in photography, digital and graphic design including strong computer skills and proficiency in but not limited to Microsoft Office, Canva, Adobe and other relevant apps is preferred. Most importantly, this role must be passionate about Chatham Bars Inn and keeping all efforts aligned with our brand values.Responsibilities:
- Chatham Bars Inn official website and CRM management
- Social Media monitoring, content calendar, content implementation and reputation management
- Reputation Management: Manage response to review sites such as Google, Trip Advisor, Expedia, etc.
- In room television and public area television content updates
- Public Relations Coordination for content creators, journalists. Coordination of visits, itinerary planning, on-site tours and assistance, post-visit follow up
- Maintain and update YouTube and Vimeo accounts
- Assist the Sales Team with requests for marketing materials - videos, presentations, photo updates and Sales Hub platform
- Organize and maintain photo and video library
- Photo and video shoot itinerary coordination, onsite assistance and execution
- Participate in support of brand partnerships including Lexus
- Support any internal marketing needs for various departments
- Take photos and videos on property and at events that need coverage
- Build and create email newsletters
- Travel Partners website listing management: Signature, Virtuoso, Preferred, NEIRA, Forbes Travel Guide
- Assist in Sales & Marketing administrative tasks
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree preferred, Marketing or Communications desirable
- Photoshop, InDesign and Canva skills preferred
- Experience in hotel/resort marketing desirable
- Some proficiency in all social media marketing utilizing Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and all other social media
- In-depth knowledge of Cape Cod, Chatham, and Chatham Bars Inn desirable
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Excellent organizational skills
- Superior verbal and written communications and presentation skills
- Ability to represent the hotel well and interact with guests, clients, agencies, vendors in a professional manner
- Ability to work independently, multi-task, and prioritize assignments and meet deadlines
