We are proud to have been named Developer of the Year in 2024 and recognized as one of Albany's Best Places to Work for nine years.If you're a storyteller, data junky, and digital maven interested in helping us elevate our Better Spaces to build stronger communities, we want to hear from you!Major AccountabilitiesCollateral Production, Editing, and Organizing* Create, modify, and organize collateral, including brochures, flyers, graphics, emails, and websites.* Ensure all content remains current and consistent with brand guidelines and quality standards.Vendor Coordination* Liaise with vendors, including website/SEO, lead generation, visual media, graphic design, etc.* Align and uphold timeline expectations between company and vendor.* Collaborate with website vendor(s) to resolve technical issues promptly and maintain optimal site functionality.Marketing Data and Budget Tracking* Track campaign and project expenditures to ensure spending aligns with budgets.* Update reports and assist in evaluating effectiveness of marketing spend versus goals.Social and Web Media Coordination* Regularly monitor company websites, social channels, and digital business directories, ensuring that all content is up-to-date, links are functional, and user experience is seamless.* Oversee the company's social media presence across various products and platforms.* Assist with gathering, creating, and adapting content for each social media channel based upon best practices.Internal Customer Service* Act as the main point of contact to coordinate marketing workflows (requests, production, approval, implementation).* Provide clear timelines for deliverables assure stakeholder objectives are met.General Duties and Expectations* Facilitate timely execution of planned content calendars(s) and promotions.* Maintain and promote up-to-date knowledge of marketing and media trends.* Attend company and property events to capture photo/video content at quality level appropriate for social media.* Manage and organize the company's media library.* Attain and apply general familiarity with copyright, data protection, accessibility and fair housing regulations.* Serve as a backup for corporate office front desk operations.* Other tasks as assigned based upon company needs.Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities* Intermediate proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) with the ability to update existing templates and introduce and retouch new media at a high-quality level.* Working knowledge of content management systems, e.g., WordPress, email marketing, e.g., Mailchimp, and online advertising platforms, e.g., Google Ads, Facebook, etc.* Proficiency organizing marketing data using analytics tools, e.g. Google Analytics, Excel, etc.* Proficiency with social media platforms, e.g., LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok.* Strong attention to detail, organization and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks according to deadlines and priorities.* Strong interpersonal and written communication skills; ability to maintain quality relationships with vendors and team members.* Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or schedule form.* Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business information, including but not limited to Company policies and procedures, brand standards and compliance requirements.* Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace . Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Understand and respond to a diverse population.* Ability to calculate basic figures and amounts such as totals, averages, percentages, fractions, etc., using calculators and basic Excel formulas.Minimum Job Requirements* Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field; equivalent relevant experience may substitute for education.* Minimum 3 years B2B marketing experience with working knowledge of traditional and digital marketing strategies including SEO, SEM, and social media marketing.* Computer literate, proficient with Adobe CS, CMS, email marketing platforms, online advertising and analytics, as well as common business software/applications (e.g., Microsoft Office suite, CRM);. Ability to adapt to new technology.* Ability to work with sensitive files and maintain confidentiality; must complete a criminal background check.Working Conditions & Physical EffortThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
