About the Job Blackbird Labs is looking for a Marketing Director to build and lead a high impact marketing function. You'll develop and execute strategies to drive consumer awareness, education, acquisition, and engagement of the Blackbird brand and product. Leading a small team, you'll oversee cross-channel marketing and roll up your sleeves to ensure flawless execution. Your mission: create a flywheel effect that drives sustained growth and long-term success. The ideal candidate has 10+ years of experience in consumer and B2B marketing, with expertise in product marketing, growth tactics, and cross-channel brand building. Responsibilities
- Develop and lead marketing strategies aligned with Blackbird's mission
- Build and scale a high-performing marketing team
- Lead product launches in diverse markets with scalable and tailored strategies
- Drive resource-efficient marketing with maximum impact
- Operate at both strategic and tactical levels to execute campaigns and optimize funnels
- Collaborate cross-functionally to align marketing with business goals
- Manage cross-channel marketing, including content, digital, social, and paid media
- Leverage data to optimize tactics and report on KPIs
- Manage marketing budgets for maximum ROI
Requirements
- 10+ years in consumer marketing, with a proven track record in product marketing, product growth, and brand building
- Experience leading and scaling small teams in fast-paced, early-stage and high-growth tech companies
- Ability to balance strategy with hands-on execution and deliver results
- Expertise in multichannel marketing, segmentation, and product launches
- Resourceful, with a scrappy approach to maximize impact
- Data-driven, with strong quantitative skills
- Proven ability to collaborate across teams
- Based in NYC; working in office 5 days a week

Pay Transparency Notice & Benefits Depending on your work location and experience the target annual salary for this position can range from: $225 - $275k USD. This range does not include the equity component of the overall compensation package. Disclosure in accordance with New York City's Pay Transparency Law. Full time offers from Blackbird may also include stock options, benefits (including medical, dental, vision, flexible time off, 401(k)), and some not-so-standard, extra-fun perks - subject to applicable taxes and based on eligibility.
