Role and Responsibilities: The E-Services Specialist assists in the responsibility of the customer and agent-facing technologies that aid in successful user experience. It is vital for this individual to build internal and external relationships while expanding the Company's technological opportunities. The E-Services Specialist conducts research and recommends new innovative software solutions and technology. After gaining Marketing E-Services experience, this person will be responsible for making decisions in a project environment for the maintenance and enhancement of our current systems.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Acquire and maintain a high level of understanding of all aspects of the day-to-day activities of the field force, field management, and Farm Bureau companies. Serve as a “go-to” source for information on these entities.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Multimedia team on specific projects.
  • Assist the E-Support Team during high-volume, production support situations.
  • Collaborate with the product owner, Manager, team members, and main marketing representatives for E-Service projects.
  • Turn business and agent questions into actionable insights/systems that create tangible improvement in marketing and sales activities and lead to measurable increases in revenue, decreases in costs, or preferably both.
  • Research, identify, develop, and recommend solutions for marketing campaigns, product/sales promotions, E-System issues, and other Marketing challenges/opportunities.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of E-Service software and programs by measuring program lift (sales increase, etc.) and resulting ROI. Develop, document, and present key findings that can drive agent performance, client experience, etc. to senior management audiences (SVP and VP levels) and other audiences as warranted.
  • Utilize analytical and problem-solving skills to investigate, document, and resolve Marketing
  • technology issues and evaluate and recommend marking software solutions.
  • Create vision and define goals for development of projects and work closely with all stakeholders
  • Ensure the value of the products created is maximized.
  • Work with Product Marketing to train Home Office and the agency force to use E-Services products and software.
  • Work with and train the E-Services production support team on the E-Services products being implemented.
  • Execute and plan successful delivery of product to production including communication to appropriate internal and external employees
  • Assess and evaluate application functionality and enhancement.
  • Record and document test results to approve when an application/system is ready for Production implementation.
  • Responsible for integrating systems/applications in Production confirming the results meet previously defined requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a Marketing, Public Relations, Business or related field; or a combination of education and experience
  • Insurance or industry related certification preferred
  • Minimum of two years' experience in the life insurance industry and/or two years in a role with a project team or technical team
  • Knowledge and/or interest and curiosity in new and emerging technologies
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, with the ability to listen, respond with clear instructions and explanations and relate to clients
  • Must be dependable, well-organized, and an effective time manager
  • Ability to work on initiatives independently as well as part of a team and a willingness to share knowledge and expertise to achieve common goals
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, successfully managing multiple projects at once and quickly adapting to changing deadlines and projects
