The Marketing & Events Coordinator is a highly collaborative and dedicated individual who strives to meet targets and objectives at both a global and market level. They will assist in the execution of the bank's overall marketing strategy and a variety of projects, including digital marketing, events and sponsorships, social media and business development projects. They should anticipate working cohesively with different departments and relationship managers to ensure efficient support of projects and superior client service.
Responsibilities
- In charge of initiatives with planning, budgeting, executing and tracking of all marketing programs such as email, events, social media, and content marketing
- Organize, coordinate, and execute events and projects from beginning-to-end
- Assist Relationship Managers in the planning, coordination and execution of unique customer experiences and events and then track and analyze results from those experiences/events
- Utilize CRM (Salesforce) to enhance Relationship Managers' business development efforts
- Coordinate processes for content creation, including digital campaigns, social media, blog articles, publications, and collateral; regularly create content to grow the company's footprint
- Support research and analytics needs, interpret data, monitor campaign performance, and provide reports, as necessary
- Boost our marketing presence and customer engagement
- Stay up to date with digital marketing trends and potential new channels
- Coordinate sponsorships, including communicating with external organizations, providing marketing collateral, working with RM on social media posts, updating the marketing calendar, coordinating advertisements, and/or shipping give-away items
- Coordinate the purchase of marketing promotional assets that support our brand & business sponsorships
- Coordinate and distribute the PFBT Newsletters, including Shareholder and department needs
- Organize, coordinate, and execute internal and external PFBT activities, including acquiring event supplies and set-up, volunteer recruitment, and coordination with external vendors
- Coordinate photography sessions with the external photographer
- Coordinate the firm's client holiday gift process
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required, preferably in marketing, event planning or communications
- 3-5 years' marketing experience; experience in a financial or professional services industry as plus
- Must be willing to occasionally work outside of normal business hours for events and some travel (Approx. 3-4 times per year)
- Exceptional writing skills, including proofreading, spelling, grammar and punctuation
- Experience with digital marketing, including email marketing platforms and social media
- CRM experience a plus, Salesforce preferred
- Strong computer and technology skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
- An eye for graphic design and experience using Canva and InDesign
- General photography/videography skills or ability to outsource to vendors
- Able to lift up 20+ lbs. occasionally – mainly for props for events
- Strong project management skills and abilities
- Ability to produce creative content and demonstrate critical thinking
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to actively listen, effectively communicate and exhibit a positive attitude
- Detail oriented and highly organized
- Able to multi-task and prioritize meeting deadlines
- Stable under pressure or stress
- Willingness to learn and contribute to the company's financial growth and profitability
