Description Marketing Internship-Sunda New AsianThe Marketing Intern will assist the marketing department in order to develop, establish, and maintain marketing strategies to meet Sunda New Asian goals and objectives.Sunda New Asian is an award-winning restaurant concept featuring modern Southeast Asian cuisine, culture, and experiences. By seamlessly melding elevated cooking techniques and flavors found throughout Asia, Sunda's extensive cross-cultural New Asian menu spans many cultural and culinary options, allowing guests to choose the dining experience they desire. Sunda also provides an impressive list of specialty cocktails, signature sakes, and a collection of popular wines to complement the cuisine. SUMMARY of RESPONSIBILITIES:Maximum of 20 hours/weekCollateral, brochure and program distributionMake/maintain contact with local businesses, and conciergeAdministrative support and data maintenanceFilter all marketing/promotions requestsAssist with event planning and special projectsCreate a weekly/monthly calendar of community events (store openings, charities, conferences, fairs, festivals, premiers, etc.) to be submitted to Marketing CoordinatorBe a positive ambassador for Sunda New Asian at all times when in public.Maintain a high level of professionalism and personal presentationKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES:Attention to detailAbility to network and build relationshipsAbility to create and maintain positive and professional relationships with the teamPersonal Attributes:Strong communication skills (written and verbal)Strong organizational skillsCreativity and ability to think outside of the box with events, promotions, marketing materials, etc.Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environmentAvailable to attend/work events on nights and weekendsAbility to work well with other departmentsHonest and trustworthyRespectfulStrong Personal Presentation (approachable, dresses appropriately, communicate well with other people, friendly, etc.)Possess cultural awareness and sensitivityFlexibilityDemonstrate sound work ethicsEqual Opportunity Employer•Sunda New Asian is an Equal Opportunity EmployerComing soon.....Sunda location in District Detroit near Theater District.
