Position Description The Marketing Program Manager is responsible for planning and executing marketing campaigns for their organization or its clients. They oversee all aspects of the program, from brainstorming the vision to final approval of content, deliverables, and deployment of communications and media campaigns. They establish campaign and program objectives, ensure messaging aligns with brand guidelines, and determine metrics to evaluate campaign performance. An in-depth knowledge of all phases of a marketing campaign along with an extensive knowledge about innovative marketing tactics and digital landscapes are the must-have skills for the ideal candidate. Reports to VP of Sales and Estimating/VP of Sales. Responsibilities
- Set strategy for marketing campaigns across a range of channels including events, advertising, web, and social media.
- Cultivate and maintain a clear understanding of customer needs through sales and identify and evaluate ways to drive more customer engagement through marketing messaging and campaigns
- Define and deliver programs that engage and grow existing customers.
- Work with sales teams to align goals based on industries and end markets
- Manage conference and sales team activities and support sales with conference and other activities by being present at these activities.
- Coordinate all giveaways with consensus by all sales personnel.
- Maintain a calendar of marketing events and ensure tasks/deadlines, and deliverables are met. Ensure proper follow-up programs are delivered by marketing and sales.
- Ensure the effective and efficient management of time and priorities, as well as consistent alignment of the overall marketing objectives.
- Collect and analyze sales trends from each team to better identify target markets and engagement efforts.
- Champion, drive, and build emerging marketing trends and technology capabilities to meet customers where they are.
- Capture action items and ensure follow through for marketing projects and campaigns.
- Build out nurture programs and 'always-on' campaigns to aid in the growth of each targeted vertical in each end market.
- Leverage campaign results to continually improve campaign structure, targeting, and messaging to drive traffic and conversions.
- Create and manage email marketing programs that support various stages of the buyer journey, such as monthly newsletters, lead nurturing programs, product announcements, system triggered announcements, customer usage data and personas.
- Align digital marketing, social media, and other customer facing efforts to drive customer engagement.
QualificationsPosition Requirements
- Work experience as a Brand Strategist or similar role in Marketing
- Portfolio of brand-building projects is a plus
- Excellent understanding of the full marketing mix
