Because of our overwhelming success and rapid expansion, we are looking for an additional Marketing Manager to join our team. Get ready to emBARK with us on a fantastic adventure of growth! The Grand Opening Marketing Manager will be responsible for managing and continuing to develop the brand's Grand Opening activities to create awareness, engagement, and preference for K9 Resorts. You will know how to sniff out the best local marketing methods and organize them in an easily accessible way! Success in this position is achieved by learning the K9 Resorts brand inside and out, forming relationships, becoming intimate with internal systems and defining, maintaining, and driving a Grand Opening support schedules beginning within 30 days of starting. Success through the first four quarters would be measured by Grand Opening ramp, local marketing ROI and high level of support.
Primary Responsibilities
Primary marketing contact for all new, Grand Opening locations during their ramp up to opening, plus one year after opening (pre-launch, launch and post-launch strategy and marketing activities)
Facilitate and create meaningful relationships with franchise owners to support and teach best Marketing efforts at the local level
Includes oversight for developing local marketing plans to affect resort performance, including understanding local consumer behavior, local media, pricing, local resort marketing and competitive trends
Responsible for assisting and implementing Grand Opening plans and strategy with each opening location
Adhering to Marketing budget recommendations and providing insights
Keeping detailed and highly organized information for several resorts at any given time, in various stages of development
Lead the coordination grand opening processes for K9 Resorts with foundational tools created; suggest and create additional tools for Grand Opening process if needed
Proof all third-party marketing materials are compliant with K9 Resorts Brand Guidelines prior to approving for use in the local market
Support the Marketing Department to work directly with existing franchisees and build strong relationships, work with them to ensure local area marketing is successful and provide the tools necessary for local marketing success (Focus: pre-opening + 1 year after opening)
Oversee daily, weekly and monthly reporting, including key marketing performance indicators, tracking and testing data that is sent to key stakeholders
Responsible for ensuring all Grand Opening locations are on track with Marketing initiatives and metrics at various stages of construction and for one year after opening
Responsible for supporting opening resorts to ensure sales goals are known and being met
May manage (at least) one future Direct Report
Other duties as assigned
Travel percentage: up to 50% visiting new locations (will vary based on Grand Opening dates)
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related field.
Experience in the franchise space required.
Field Marketing experience is a must.
Minimum of 6 years of experience in marketing, with a focus on new store openings, campaign management, and brand development.
Ability to consistently meet deadlines while managing multiple projects concurrently.
Perfectionist with details so the brand values are reflected flawlessly in all customer facing materials.
Proven track record of successfully launching and marketing new products, services, or locations.
Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex ideas effectively to diverse audiences.
Proficiency in marketing analytics tools and techniques for measuring and optimizing campaign performance.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and build positive relationships with colleagues, stakeholders, and external partners.
Experience in the service industry or related field is a plus.
Customer Success experience a plus.
