Job Description:

A writing sample is required with each candidate submission.

As a Marketing Manager, you will execute strategic marketing and promotional efforts, contribute to a variety of marketing tactics, and develop strong advisory partnerships with internal clients. Your role will include writing and editing web, email, and SMS content, coordinating student and alumni stories, developing creative assets, and conducting market research. You\'ll work closely with the CMO, Director of Marketing, faculty directors, program staff, and other members of the MarTech team to ensure effective and timely marketing initiatives.

Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day marketing activities for assigned programs:

Manage content accuracy, internal review processes, and timely updates.

Collaborate on drip campaigns, SMS campaigns, and other nurture tactics.

Monitor marketing plan performance to meet enrollment goals.

Partner with stakeholders to meet project deadlines and deliverables.

Oversee video and photo shoots.

Ensure up-to-date information across website program pages and CRM communications plans.

Conduct market research and perform analysis of marketing performance:

Analyze marketing campaign performance and optimize recruitment strategies.

Review dashboards and funnel data to evaluate lead-generation tactics.

Conduct audience research to understand motivators and behaviors of current students and alumni.

Manage relationships and facilitate communications with program partners:

Provide excellent client service to academic programs.

Establish regular communication channels and proactively manage client expectations.

Offer proactive insights to drive positive lead generation results.

Document meetings and provide regular status updates.

Requirements & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree

2-3 years of professional marketing experience, which could include advertising, media planning, brand management or communications

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail

Superior organizational skills and ability to prioritize projects and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Must possess excellent client service skills

Must be able to work collaboratively in a team environment

Some experience with CRM and CMS platforms preferred, particularly Slate and WordPress, a plus

Experience using a project management platform a plus (e.g., Asana, Trello, Monday, etc.)
