Position: Marketing Manager with Product and Analyst Engagement Expertise

About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Marketing Manager with hands-on experience in product engineering and management to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of product lifecycles and technical features, enabling them to confidently deliver product demonstrations to clients. Additionally, prior experience collaborating with industry analysts such as Forrester and Gartner will be a significant advantage in driving thought leadership and positioning the company as a market leader.
Key Responsibilities:
Marketing Strategy and Execution
- Develop and execute marketing campaigns aligned with product strategies to enhance brand visibility and demand generation.
- Collaborate closely with sales, product, and engineering teams to ensure consistent messaging across channels.
- Analyze campaign performance metrics and adjust strategies to optimize results and ROI.
Product Expertise and Client Engagement
- Leverage product engineering and management experience to deeply understand technical features and their business impact.
- Conduct compelling product demonstrations for clients, showcasing the value and functionality of the solutions.
- Support sales teams with detailed product insights, competitive analysis, and customer use cases.
Content Development
- Create high-quality product marketing content, including brochures, technical datasheets, presentations, and web copy.
- Develop and maintain a repository of marketing assets for consistent messaging and brand alignment.
- Work with internal teams to craft content tailored for analyst relations, industry reports, and leadership insights.
Industry Analyst Collaboration
- Manage relationships with industry analysts like Forrester and Gartner, ensuring the company's solutions are well-represented in market evaluations and reports.
- Contribute to the development of submissions for analyst reviews, Magic Quadrants, and Waves.
- Attend analyst briefings and inquiries, communicating product differentiation and strategic direction effectively.
Customer and Market Insights
- Conduct market research to identify customer needs, emerging trends, and competitive positioning.
- Provide insights to product teams for roadmap development and enhancements based on customer feedback and market requirements.
Team Leadership and Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, and sales, to deliver cohesive go-to-market strategies.
- Act as a thought leader within the organization, driving innovation and best practices in product marketing.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. MBA or equivalent is a plus.
- Experience:
- 10+ years in marketing with at least 2+ years in product engineering or product management roles.
- Proven experience in delivering product demos to clients and stakeholders.
- Prior collaboration with industry analysts like Forrester, Gartner, or similar is highly desirable.
- Strong portfolio of content creation, including product brochures, datasheets, and web content.
Skills and Competencies:
- Expertise in digital marketing platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Google Analytics).
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and storytelling skills.
- Analytical mindset with experience interpreting data to inform strategy.
- Ability to balance strategic vision with hands-on execution.
- Familiarity with Agile and product development processes is a plus.
