Baltimore-based Investment Banking firm seeks Marketing and Media Specialist for FT hybrid position.
Hours/Schedule: Full-time, flexible
Job Type: Direct hire
Location Requirements: Hybrid with 2-3 days/week in Baltimore office
Rate: $75-80K plus excellent benefits
Job Description: Marketing and Media Specialist will report to the Chief of Staff and be responsible for writing marketing content, updating website, managing marketing email campaigns, and developing and executing all social media posts.
Responsibilities:
Marketing Emails
- Oversee internal content creation such as transaction announcements, blogs and
- Within CRM, HubSpot, create templates for announcements, mid-year and year-end updates, event invitations, and embed videos within the emails
- Develop a website insights page to link to each announcement
Content Creation
- With staff's input, create a list of relevant content ideas based on industry trends
- Develop a content creation calendar with target release dates
- Monitor milestone dates to ensure the team is on pace to release on time
- Submit to marketing outlets, post on social media, add to website, etc.
Website Upkeep
- Industry newsletter landing pages (ex. GovCon quarterly updates)
- Insights pages (add blogs, deal announcements, etc.)
- New hire profiles (create new profile pages to include photo and bios)
Social Media
- Develop LinkedIn content schedule, create posts, and release them on a scheduled basis
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- 3+ years' experience in content creation and digital marketing
- Experience with HubSpot and Wordpress preferred
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail
- Experience with investment banking/finance a plus
