With a rich legacy of delivering high-quality, award-winning content, we are expanding our footprint to meet growing demand in North America.Job PurposeThe Marketing Operations Coordinator, Commercial Marketing, plays a pivotal role within the North America Ad Sales Marketing team. Reporting to the Senior Director of NA Commercial Ad Sales Marketing and working in close collaboration with the Director of Operations, BBC StoryWorks, this position provides strategic and operational support across the NA Ad Sales Marketing function. Key responsibilities include managing internal processes, workflows, and communications for the pre-sale, production, and renewal phases of the commercial unit. Additionally, the role oversees budget management, coordinates training initiatives, and drives the optimization of cross-departmental operational systems.Operating within a highly matrixed environment, the Marketing Operations Coordinator will interact with multiple stakeholders across the global Ad Sales team and partner closely with colleagues in editorial, legal, marketing, and digital product teams.   • Streamline Workflows: Partner with the Director of Operations to audit and refine operational workflows, driving efficiency in commercial processes to support business scalability and margin growth.
  • Enhance Communication: Strengthen communication channels and infrastructure between Ad Sales Marketing teams and internal/external stakeholders to ensure seamless collaboration.
  • Align Strategic Goals: Collaborate with senior leadership to establish strategic operational objectives that align with BBC Studios' long-term vision.
  • Facilitate RFP Management: Act as the primary point of contact for RFP inquiries, ensuring smooth and efficient information sharing across the organization.
  • Champion BBC Capabilities: Serve as a center of excellence for commercializing BBC capabilities, fostering cross-functional efficiencies to drive growth in a dynamic market landscape.
  • Support Revenue Growth: Oversee critical operational systems designed to enhance revenue generation and streamline key business processes.
  • Execute Trade Marketing: Assist in developing and implementing trade marketing initiatives aligned with overarching commercial strategies.
  • Strengthen Partnerships: Deliver exceptional support to internal and external stakeholders, fostering strong engagement and optimizing partnership opportunities.
  • Deliver High-Quality Projects: Ensure timely and high-quality project delivery, maintaining creative excellence in Ad Sales Marketing outputs.
  • Optimize Tools & Training: Improve the use of project management tools, ensure accurate reporting, and lead training efforts to enhance team capabilities.
  • Maintain SOP Documentation: Keep standard operating procedures and reference materials up-to-date for consistency and efficiency in all processes.
Knowledge, Skills, Training and ExperienceRequired Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years in digital content operations and production, ideally within a branded content studio or digital publishing environment.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects with a successful history of collaboration across sales, marketing, and creative teams.

  • Strong organizational skills complemented by experience in commercial analysis, showcasing numerical proficiency and strategic thinking.
  • Familiarity with project management tools, operational systems, analytics platforms, and ad-serving technologies.

Compensation and BenefitsCompensation:The anticipated annual base salary for this role is $50k to $60k. Actual compensation will depend on your qualifications and experience.Benefits:
