Job Description:
Operations, a Marketing Operations Manager drives the build and release or deployment of our messages by partnering with Technical, Product and Research teams. In addition, this role administers user messaging experiments to conduct and draw insights from strategies. This role is a hybrid of skill sets, which include: hands-on coding, experimentation instrumentation, messaging strategy thought-partner, and user advocate - leveraging expert internal resources when appropriate.ResponsibilitiesBuild, quality assure, and release or deploy messagesConduct split and multivariate experiments, ensuring protocols are administered to minimize biasOperate or participate in refinement forums to unlock solution opportunities with partnersProactively monitor releases and deployments to ensure they're performing against the requirementExecute audience queriesOperate in a stage-gated agile framework, and support globally distributed team members with quality assurance peer reviewImplement and audit all analytic encoding to enable messaging effectivenessEnsure all messages conform to legal or compliance requirementsBasic Qualifications3+ years in marketing executing CRM/Lifecycle channel optimization and insightsProficiency in SQL to build audiencesExpert in template scripting (e.g. AMPscript, Liquid)Proficiency in CSS / HTML, with additional ability to extract assets from source filesAbility to operate within an agile framework via a global distributed teamDeep experience in email, push, sms, in-app messaging channels and platformsAttention to detail, with an ability to identify issues and implement remediesAbility to outline requirements and work on implementation with key stakeholders (e.g. engineers, consultants)Self-motivated, with a drive to exceed user expectations and enable partner teams Ensure all messages conform legal or compliance requirementsAbility to be on-call, when high priority business needs necessitatePreferred Qualifications Experience in an operational roleProficient specifically in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Braze, and /or other lifecycle marketing platforms, ideally certified in one main platformExperience in building lifecycle user journeysWorking knowledge of Jira, Confluence, Github, AirtableWorking knowledge of email and mobile channel best practicesRequired Education Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
