Dixon is looking for a detailed and versatile in-house product photographer to produce high-quality photographs and catalog specialist to evaluate, research, and maintain key data elements covering the vast array of Dixon products. This is a dual role, where you split your time in each area. You will be working in a studio environment where you will be responsible for all catalog and photography needs, from building the product listing to the photo capture/editing and finally exporting to our web team, where images are uploaded to our website.
Responsibilities:
* Produce high quality digital photographs of Dixon products that accurately represent color, functionality, and features of products across all divisions
* Consistently produce images that are aligned with Dixon's established brand standards
* Fulfill location and travel shoots for Dixon and affiliated assignments
* Collaboration on composition and post-production standards with the creative team members to ensure final assets meet Dixon e-commerce standards and business needs
* Contribute photographic expertise in collaboration with the marketing team, to create departmental and studio improvements
* Maintain communication with the marketing manager to coordinate daily shooting workflow
* Ensure a high level of consistent technical quality and aesthetics for all photography created, as well as researching, experimenting, learning new techniques and post production methods when necessary
* Maintain studio equipment, scheduling maintenance and repairs
* Research Dixon products and related components and their attributes
* Collect and/or log detailed measurements, weight and technical attributes for all products within Dixon's product catalog
* Maintain technical documents and detailed product descriptions within Dixon's detailed product catalogs
* Work with Dixon's computer systems and software
* Perform final quality control check on all print, along with the print team

* Computer Savvy: Adobe Creative Suite is the most important so we should list it first
* Organization and Planning: Must be able to assist the team in planning and managing print campaigns and marketing calendars
