* 5 years prior experience in Marketing required. Good communication, interpersonal and organizational skills required.

POSITION SUMMARY
The Marketing Specialist is responsible for the implementation of marketing tactics that sustain and strengthen the mission and goals of the health system. The Marketing Specialist will work to support marketing leadership to execute the tactics as outlined in the strategic marketing plans exercising independent judgment and creativity.
The Marketing Specialist is also responsible for media buys and ad hoc projects as requested. In addition, the Marketing Specialist will work closely with internal customers and external partner agencies and is responsible for the successful trafficking of all materials as well as meeting all deadlines and monitoring budgets. This position is responsible for supporting other marketing efforts including, but not limited to, special events and corporate functions (planning, development, and execution of), media relations, community sponsorships/relations.
This position supports organizational goals by providing quality customer service, participating in performance improvement efforts and demonstrating a commitment to teamwork and cooperation.
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or related field required.

EXPERIENCE: 5 years prior experience in Marketing required. Good communication, interpersonal and organizational skills required. Proficiency with computer applications required.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
This position requires some walking/standing and may have prolonged periods of sitting. Works with such equipment as
computer terminal, fax machine, printer, telephone and copier. Position requires some travel, flexibility of hours including weekends, evenings and on-call coverage as well as lifting up to 20 lbs. Essential functions for this position are listed on the Assessment and Evaluation Tool.
