Summary:
Under the supervision of the Marketing Supervisor, the Marketing Specialist is responsible for overseeing general marketing request from all programs and divisions, manage social media platforms, be present in all Ibero Signature and major events for photography, and support marketing and development efforts designated by the Marketing Supervisor and the Marketing & Development Manager.

* Establishes and maintains good working relationships with throughout the organization and community.
* Provide marketing support to Supervisor in relations to activities and special events, including but not limited to, the scholarship and luncheon event.
* Manages social media for divisions and affiliates using Hootsuite.
* Oversees marketing support ticket for any new and ongoing marketing request from staff.
* Regularly checks in with program marketing leads and provides training and feedback as need it.
* Support neighborhood canvassing and the distribution of promotional and educational materials.
* Supports agency wide events and supports agency presence at community events throughout the year.
* Attends scheduled staff meetings and agency events as assigned.
* Creates marketing collateral for internal and external audiences per request.
* Prepares presentations, types & proofreads correspondence, files and makes copies.
* Answer social media inquiries.
* Is available to work outside regularly scheduled working hours.
* Performs any other duties as assigned by supervisors.
Authority:
The employee exercises considerable initiative in setting priorities within the framework of the agency's policies and procedures. In case of emergency, the employee must make decisions to ensure coverage of switchboard.

Skills and Abilities:
* High school equivalent with two years' experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Physical Demands:
The position does require occasional standing, squatting, lifting of up to approximately 10 lbs. And frequent sitting.
