PRIMARY PURPOSE:
We are seeking a creative and results-driven Marketing Specialist with a strong background in social media marketing and communications to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing social media strategies that enhance our brand presence, engage our audience, and drive traffic to our digital platforms. Additionally, you will design and elevate marketing collateral and support the company's presence at trade shows, industry events and customer meetings.
Key Responsibilities:
* Social Media Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies aligned with our overall marketing goals.
* Content Creation: Create engaging, relevant, and shareable content for social media platforms that enhance our B2B presence, such as LinkedIn.
* Community Management: Monitor social media channels, respond to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely manner, and engage with our online community.
* Analytics and Reporting: Track, analyze, and report on social media performance metrics, making data-driven recommendations for improvement.
* Campaign Management: Plan and execute social media campaigns, including promotions, industry events, and customer efforts.
* Trend Monitoring: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in social media marketing and share with the organization.
* Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team, external marketing agencies, and digital content creatives to ensure brand consistency across all channels and integrate social media efforts with broader marketing initiatives.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
* 2 to 5 years of experience in social media marketing or digital marketing.
* Proven track record of managing successful social media campaigns.
* Strong understanding of social media platforms, analytics tools, and best practices.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and engaging audiences.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
* Team oriented with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
* Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
* Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
* Ability to travel up to 25% of time.
