Job Title: Marketing SpecialistLocation: RemoteIndustry: Non-ProfitPay: $25-$27/hourAbout Our Client: Addison Group is hiring on behalf of our client, a leading non-profit organization.Job Description: The Marketing Specialist will play a key role in supporting our client's Communications & Marketing team by developing creative assets that enhance revenue and awareness. This position is responsible for interpreting the organization's brand into various digital formats, including email, social media, web, and offline designs. The Marketing Specialist will collaborate across teams to execute strategic campaigns and donor engagement initiatives. This is a temporary role covering a six-month leave.Key Responsibilities:
- Create engaging and innovative designs for digital platforms, including emails, website content, and social media posts.
- Develop materials to support internal teams, such as event graphics, campaign visuals, and presentation decks.
- Manage project deadlines and ensure creative deliverables align with strategic goals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define donor journeys and develop multi-channel assets that enhance engagement.
- Update and optimize email marketing templates to improve key metrics.
- Analyze digital campaign performance and recommend solutions for improvement.
- Ensure consistency with the organization's brand identity across all designs.
- Support the creation of dynamic and interactive visuals, including animations and GIFs, using tools like Adobe After Effects or Blender.
- Assist with HTML5 animation development and interactive web elements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
- 1-3 years of proven graphic design experience, particularly in digital formats.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, etc.).
- Familiarity with design tools like Figma or Sketch.
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and email marketing platforms such as Marketing Cloud.
- Ability to create on-brand, concise copy to complement visual designs.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present ideas effectively.
- Experience in analyzing digital campaign results and making data-driven recommendations.
Additional Details:
- Contract Length: 6 months
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9 AM - 5 PM CST (35-hour workweek)
- Background Check: Required prior to start date.
