The Marketing Support Specialist is responsible for assisting the Marketing Staff in executing growth and profit initiatives by collecting and documenting information and providing exemplary administrative support.

What You'll Do:
  • Assists the marketing department with day to day technical and daily management of agent accounts including administrative responsibilities, data entry and customer service to an agent.
  • Request supporting documentation from agents for a new appointment or current licensing and E&O information as needed.
  • Understanding and adhere to state appointment and termination requirements.
  • Manages and maintains marketing databases and customer relationship management (CRM) software.
  • Helps plan and execute marketing campaigns, including newsletters, digital ads, events and sales.
  • Identify, capture, and share intelligence on competitors value propositions, marketing/sales/ underwriting practices, and product/rate changes.
  • Keeps abreast of industry changes and trends by attending industry functions, such as association events and conferences, and providing feedback and information on the market and creative trends.
  • Maintain a good working knowledge of the insurance industry through continuing education, self-study, and seminar attendance.
  • Forecast sales targets, participate in the goal setting process and help ensure goals are achieved.
  • Understand the competitions strategy and Breckenridges value proposition to effectively present the benefits of working with Breckenridge and our products.
  • Other related duties and projects as assigned.
What You'll Need:
  • Minimum of 1 year of related experience required.
  • Associates Degree in business or related field preferred.
  • Must be able to work independently, work on multiple projects concurrently and perform multiple tasks.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Adept at accessing business data from the Internet when required.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
