DescriptionJob Description- Marketplace Selector The primary function of this position details includes but is not limited to selecting and palletize orders in an accurate and timely manner. This is a marketplace position responsible for operating an electric jack, or other powered industrial equipment, to select correct products, palletizing product to build customer orders and delivering the product to the marketplace order staging area and/or customer's vehicle safely and efficiently. Essential Duties Include
- Hand-select orders within various warehouse environments of fluctuating temperatures, including dry, cooler and freezer.
- Stack products on pallets following proper selecting procedures (for example, no stacking heavy product on light products, labels facing out, adhering to food safety principles, etc.)
- Operate an electric pallet jack, or other powered industrial equipment, to transport products.
- Stage order for loading at the Marketplace staging area.
- Maintain and safely operate all assigned equipment including, but not limited to, powered industrial equipment and personal protective equipment.
- Perform pre-trip inspections, and safely operate all powered industrial equipment.
- Load orders into customer vehicles
- Clean order staging areas, Marketplace areas, and Marketplace equipment.
- Check customer orders for accuracy.
- Adhere to all safety practices and company policies for food safety principles. Immediately advise supervisor of any unsafe conditions
- Attending all required company meetings.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
