We are currently seeking a State Security Auditor/Consultant to join our team in the United States (US). This security auditor/consultant, working closely with other auditors/analysts, will be a key contributor in providing security audit and advisory services to the client - evaluating the effectiveness of security programs, assessing risks, and vulnerabilities, identifying control gaps. The candidate may also conduct independent security and privacy assessments and report/present findings to senior state staff.
Job Responsibilities Include: - Analysis & comprehension of state business practices and IT system processes
- Evaluating security and privacy controls to ensure they are implemented correctly, operating as intended, and producing desired outcomes
- For each privacy and security control, identifying:
- Artifacts and processes to be examined
- Test methods and objects
- Personnel/roles to be interviewed
- Contributing to the discovery, assessment, analysis, and management of network, and application vulnerabilities and remediation efforts
- Determining risk exposures and developing detailed remediation strategies
- Supporting the planning and execution of internal audit procedures and report creation
Basic Qualifications: - Minimum 8 years combined experience working with:
- IT Internal Audits
- Independent Third-Party and Risk Assessments
- Vulnerability management / assessing firewalls &networks, including VPN, DLP, IDS/IPS
- CMS MARS-E and NIST Security and Privacy control frameworks
- IT Governance, Risk, Compliance (GRC), drafting security policies, plans, gap analysis & recommendations
- Bachelors or Masters Degree
- Hold one or more security certifications such as CISA, CISM, CISSP
Preferred Skills: - Comprehensive understanding of security and privacy controls
- Exceptional analytical, communication, and collaboration skills
- Thorough understanding of NIST, MARS-E, ARC-AMPE Frameworks and CMS Certification Requirements
- Ability to understand and translate technical jargon
- Advanced client and vendor relationship management
- Working knowledge of cloud security (AWS/Azure)
Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting pay range for this remote role is $89,032 - $135,000. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate's actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
