MASCOT STAFF
The Mascot Staff (Mascot Security) works closely with BLOOPER and The Home Depot Tools to execute gameday and non-gameday events. This role is both a mascot handling and performance role.
IN-PERSON AUDITIONS ARE REQUIRED
Monday, January 20th
Major responsibilities:
* Must be physically able to participate in The Home Depot Tool race during Braves home games
* As a mascot performer, entertain and interact with fans while always representing the Braves and our partners in a professional manner
* Perform as a mascot in the plaza before, during, and after Braves home games
* Act as a fan-facing Mascot Security for BLOOPER or other characters during games. Provide an exemplary experience to fans looking to interact with our mascots as the character of Mascot Security .
* Act as a Mascot Security for external events as assigned.
* Perform as a mascot at outside appearances in the community
Qualifications:
* Must be able to run and receive physical contact during The Home Depot Tool race
* Must be physically fit and in good health to endure conditions including extreme high and low temperatures
* Previous mascot or athletic experience is strongly preferred, but not required
* Physically capable of performing multiple mascot appearances over the course of the game
* Ability to interact as a mascot performer in front of large crowds, engage with families and children
* Able to balance top tier fan service with logistical proficiency during handling
* High-energy employee with confidence and charisma
* Good verbal and non-verbal skills
* Availability to work weekends, weekdays and some holidays
* Reliable transportation
* Willing to cooperate and work in a team environment
* Ability to be flexible to adjusted show times, appearances and overall live entertainment
* Ability to work off-site events throughout the greater Atlanta community
* Strong knowledge of the game of baseball
* Must complete a successful background check
