Cedar Park Group is seeking experienced Brick and Block Masons for a commercial project in the Albany metro area. This ongoing project requires skilled masons with at least 5 years of experience in masonry work, particularly in brick and block laying. The ideal candidates will have the necessary tools to perform the job and be ready to start immediately.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform masonry work including laying brick and block for commercial construction projects.
- Interpret blueprints, sketches, and building plans to ensure proper installation.
- Measure areas accurately and cut bricks/blocks to fit where needed.
- Ensure that all work is completed in line with the project specifications and safety standards.
- Collaborate with the project supervisor and other workers to complete assigned tasks efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following OSHA regulations and company policies.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in brick and block masonry.
- Proficiency in using masonry tools and equipment (must have some of your own tools).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- OSHA 10 certification is required.
- Knowledge of construction safety protocols and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
- Reliable, punctual, and ready to contribute to a fast-paced commercial project.
Compensation:
- Hourly pay: $28-40, based on experience and qualifications.
