We proudly serve athletes, post-surgery patients, and individuals with chronic pain, and we're seeking a talented Licensed Massage Therapist to join our compassionate team. What We're Looking For: We want an experienced and motivated massage therapist with at least 2 years in the field who embodies our values of empathy and professionalism. If you possess strong technical skills, interpersonal abilities, and a commitment to ongoing learning, we want to hear from you! Key Responsibilities: Technical Skills: Proficient in a variety of therapeutic techniques including Deep Tissue, Swedish, Sports, and Medical Massage. Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology, including the muscular, skeletal, and nervous systems, along with contraindications for specific conditions. Experience working with clients in injury rehabilitation, especially those recovering from surgeries and chronic pain. Familiarity with pain management techniques and specialized modalities such as Myofascial Release, Prenatal Massage, and Trigger Point Therapy. Conduct postural and musculoskeletal assessments to tailor treatments to individual needs. Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Embrace a client-centric approach, creating a safe and comfortable environment for healing. Communicate effectively, explaining treatments clearly while actively listening to clients' concerns and adapting techniques as necessary. Administrative Skills: Maintain accurate documentation of client progress, treatment plans, and any modifications made during sessions. Comply with HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality and privacy. Manage appointment scheduling effectively to optimize client flow. Additional Requirements: Hold a valid state massage therapy license and relevant certifications (CPR, First Aid, etc.). Exhibit physical stamina to manage multiple clients throughout the day. Commit to continual learning and staying updated on the latest techniques and modalities.
