Apply Now!Qualifications/Requirements:In this position you apply mastery level computer programming, software engineering best practices, and cyber security principles for the development, assessment, and fielding of Air Force (AF) and Joint cyberspace tools and weapons.Must be a U.S. CitizenMust be able to obtain and maintain a “Top Secret” Security clearance with eligibility to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI).Must be able obtain and maintain the appropriate Information Assurance certification within 6-months of assigned duties.This position is designated as a Drug Test Designated PositionThis position requires at a minimum, a bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.This highly technical position requires the incumbent to complete special training requirements and maintain job qualification as defined by the work role(s).Advanced knowledge, skills, and abilities in software coding and agile software development techniques, computer networking and protocols, modeling/simulation, complex data structures, computer programming including knowledge of interpreted and compiled computer languages and low-level languages e.g. assembly, operating systems, cyber security concepts, principles, standards, methods, techniques, practices, and procedures.Knowledge and understanding of national-level doctrine, regulations, policies, guidelines, requirements, and initiatives related to cyberspace operations, cyber security, and security procedures to maintain control of classified material.Advanced knowledge, skills, and abilities in writing code in a currently supported programming language (e.g., C, C++, Python, and Assembly).Advanced skill to apply a wide range of qualitative and/or quantitative methods for the assessment of user needs and resource prioritization.
