Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Master Data Analyst Support Leader to manage and enhance the Material Master data processes within our SAP environment. This role will involve leading a team of analysts, ensuring data integrity, compliance, and operational efficiency while providing exceptional support to business users.

Key Responsibilities:

Code Creation and Validation:

  • Verify and update code creation information in the MyDataLinx tool as per documentation provided by the Operations Center (OC).
  • Process code creation in SAP and validate the values entered for critical fields as assigned by OC, using available documentation and MyDataLinx request forms.
  • Complete second and full audits of code creation, ensuring accuracy across all views and fields.

Material Code Management:

  • Validate and update material code requests per documentation and manage discontinuation of material codes in SAP.
  • Complete discontinuation requests in the MDL tool and ensure compliance with established processes.
  • Respond to business user queries and manage user requests for Material Master updates.

Data Analysis and Updates:

  • Download and validate material master data as required by business units to support analyses or updates to material codes.
  • Perform code creation, extension, and activation in SAP using LSMW and MMCC.
  • Ensure required changes in the Material Master are made accurately based on user-provided data.

Approval and Communication:

  • Verify if a new Material Group is required and facilitate the approval process with business users.
  • Set up new Material Groups in SAP and MDL, creating dummy codes as needed.
  • Communicate new material code details to business users and update Service Now for finished goods material master tasks.

Data Profiling & Data Cleansing:

  • Generate weekly and monthly reports related to Material Master data, saving them on the OC Shared drive.
  • Validate data profiling reports output and coordinate communications for non-finished goods with the MATREQ Team and finished goods with the MDA Team.
  • Maintain and update process documentation as directed by OC data team leads.

Continuous Improvement and Training:

  • Identify and proactively recommend continuous improvement initiatives to enhance data operations processes.
  • Conduct training sessions for OC business users on standard tools utilized by Master Data Analysts.
  • Track target goals associated with this work order and create scorecards for quarterly review with the OC data team.

Team Leadership and Coordination:

  • Direct workload and tasks for the Master Data Analysts (MDAs) and maintain functional and technical specifications for new data profiling reports.
  • Coordinate administrative authorizations for MDAs, ensuring all credentials and authorizations are up to date.
  • Manage user access and job scheduling for data profiling tools.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in data management, specifically with Material Master data in SAP.
  • Strong understanding of SAP material management processes, data governance, and master data management practices.
  • Proven leadership experience with the ability to guide and develop a team effectively.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with a focus on data accuracy and process improvement.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience with data profiling & Data cleansing tools and reporting software.
  • Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
  • Prior experience with training and mentoring team members.
  • Work from Client Location : Toledo Ohio
  • Hybrid Environment : 4 days a week from office
