Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and reliable CNC Machinist/Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in operating both CNC mills and lathes and experienced in programming with Mastercam. Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes, ensuring high-quality, precision machining of parts.
  • Program and edit CNC programs using Mastercam, ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of the machining process.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to produce parts to customer requirements.
  • Perform tool changes, offsets, and machine maintenance as needed.
  • Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as necessary to ensure consistent quality.
  • Work closely with team members to meet production deadlines and ensure smooth workflow in the shop.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following all company and industry safety protocols.

prefund skills:

  • 3+ years of experience operating CNC mills and lathes, with a strong understanding of machining processes.
  • Proficiency in Mastercam programming for both milling and turning.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and make adjustments on the fly.
  • Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
