Join us!Reporting directly to the Supply Chain Manager, the Material Control Clerk is responsible for performing duties related to managing inventory, cycle counting, shipping, receiving, and packaging finished goods; delivery of materials and supplies.You will have an opportunity to:Pick, pack and deliver raw materials to production floor, and sales orders to shippers. Work with Production Control Department (AKA Production Scheduling) and inside sales to fulfill ordersManage physical inventory, cycle count and participate in annual physical inventory counts. Update materials in ERP system.Maintain supply inventory systems for various internal customers. Deliver supplies throughout the facilityPackage hazardous materials using scoops, funnels, dry box, hoods from/to pallets, pails, drums, bottles and cans (55 gallon to ½ pint). Wear appropriate PPE as specified including respiratory protection.Perform receiving functions; generate receipts, weigh and verify inbound shipments of raw materials for quantity, weight, and conformance of materials; enter data into ERP system; manage and control incoming locations; work with quality department to ensure all material conforms and is controlled.Perform low priority (not restricted domestic a.k.a. blue) shipping functions, package, data entry to generate carrier label.Perform routine clerical duties including data entry, answering telephones and assisting internal customers; data entry of goods issue, transfer posting, and other transactions.REQUIREMENTS:High School graduate/equivalentHazardous materials / dangerous goods material handling experience requiredForklift certification preferred but not requiredKnowledge of lean manufacturing principals preferred but not requiredSAP/SAPWM experience preferred but not requiredWorking knowledge of Microsoft products/ERP equivalentThe selection of the person to be hired for this position is contingent on the candidate having export compliance eligibility for access to U.S. controlled technology which comes under the licensing jurisdiction of the U.S. Department of State, International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the U.S. Department of Commerce, Export Administration Regulations (EAR).The candidate selected will have to qualify as either a U.S. citizen, a U.S. National, a lawful permanent resident of the U.S., a Person Admitted into the U.S. as an Asylee or Refugee., a National of a country that is not prohibited from having access to U.S. controlled technology (via a letter of assurance), or a Person to be approved for an export license by the governing agency whose technology comes under its jurisdiction.
