Talascend is currently seeking a Material Control Specialist for a contract opportunity in Broad Run, VA. SUMMARY: This sub family is responsible for planning, scheduling and managing the movement of material from receipt the warehouse to production. Duties may include developing raw material requirements and scheduling requirements from engineering specifications and production schedules as well as planning and managing material movement with purchasing, warehouse, and production. IMPACT: Works to achieve day to day objectives consisting of tasks that are very routine, or well-defined, with specific instructions. Work is closely supervised. COMPLEXITY: Resolves routine problems and issues with clearly prescribed solutions. Follows a well-established and familiar set of activities and/or processes to derive a solution. COMMUNICATION: Communicates with peers to obtain or provide information requiring little explanation or interpretation. LEADERSHIP & TALENT MANAGEMENT: KNOWLEDGE: Has moderate understanding of job requirements. TYPICAL EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Typically requires high school diploma or equivalent and less than 1 year of prior relevant experience.We thank all applicants for their interest.
