Job Title: Material Coordinator
Reports to: Alex Mahrous, Plant Manager
Job Overview: The Material Coordinator position will provide daily functional support to production through a variety of functions. This role will work directly with production and customer service to ensure incoming and outgoing materials are accounted for/prepared on time and with a high degree of accuracy. The Material Coordinator will work closely with Cell Leads to determine daily priorities and material requirements within the plant and work directly with Material Handlers to accomplish work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitation of finished goods at the machine level including packaging, labeling, strapping and wrapping etc.
- Work with operators at each cell to stage packaged goods in preparation for shipping.
- Facilitation of rack placement and machine staging.
- Verify accurate quantity and quality of incoming deliveries.
- Loading/unloading trucks and moving product throughout plant.
- Shipment data entry into Sage.
- General support in manufacturing operations such as material management, assistance with inventory control, and blending materials.
Key Competencies:
- General computer skills and knowledge of ERP (Sage).
- Forklift certified, or ability to obtain a forklift license.
- Able to stand, bend over, lift continuously.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong time management and prioritization skills.
- Must be able to work with a team to accomplish shared goals.
