DescriptionEssential Job Functions: Load/unload incoming/outgoing deliveries, properly securing all outgoing loadsReceive, deliver and verify materialsInspect quality of materials received and before deliveryImmediately report shortages and damaged materialsEnsure passenger safety through safe driving techniques including, but not limited to; following all road signs and speed limit signs, and maintaining the general appearance of the shuttle bus throughout the day including light maintenance of the interior and exteriorKeep vehicles and warehouse/storage areas safe, clean and in orderUse small hand tools and operate material handling equipmentAbility to learn and adhere to the Delta Constructors safety cultureOther duties as assignedRequired Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma, or EquivalentExperience with oil field materials handling, warehousing and logistics in AlaskaRequired Education, Training & Certifications:Current OSHA 10 and Hydrogen Sulfide (H2S) certificates, or ability to obtain upon hireCurrent North Slope Training Cooperative Certification (NSTC)Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required: Good computer skills and the ability to learn contractor's procurement software program CoupaKnowledge in conducting inventory checkGood organizational and document management skillsGood understanding of logistics and inventory functionKnowledge of proper handling of materials and equipment use conducive to conditions and its useKnowledge of Hazardous Materials and Safety Regulations and industry practices related to materials and equipment use and operationAbility to use time efficiently in order to complete deliveries on timeAbility to communicate effectively in a team environmentAbility to handle stress and possess positive attitude even in difficult or challenging situationsAbility to attend training sessions, seminars and appropriate educational classes required by the departmentPhysical Demand/Work Environment:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
