Work Shift:SwingPay Type:HourlyHourly Rate (if applicable):$29.95Targeted Base Salary Range (if applicable):N/AJOB OVERVIEW:Receives raw almonds, identifies almonds to confirm proper variety has been identified, pulls samples from grower direct deliveries, and ensures the almonds are stored in the proper location. Communicates to department lead or supervisor on all receiving issues.RESPONSIBILITIES:ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Load and unload raw material and packaging supplies from trucks using forklifts into appropriate staging areas.Return all unused raw material and packaging supplies to appropriate warehouses.Order and verify shipment of raw materials from other plants and warehouses.Coordinates and communicates material movement from other BDG sites and 3rd party warehouses. Strong knowledge of SAP needed to ensure timely movement both internally and externallyEnsure enough materials are ordered to cover the beginning of the next shift to avoid production delays.Work with Production, Inventory, and Warehouse to ensure all packaging materials are ordered and supplied to the areas of need in a timely manner.Requirements include ability to load / unload trucks and freight elevators.Safely performs job duties with a high degree of speed and accuracy.Works with leads to support rework material movement. Support rework coordinator as needed.Un-assign and/or reassign raw material to process orders as needed.Required to maintain inventory locations and perform timely material movement audits including cycle counts.Rotate and organize material by orders and the order production dates.Support Production if there is a shortage of Forklift Drivers.Organize Regrade area to prevent finished product from being mixed in with other materials.Preform physical counts of P-items to ensure we do not waste them before sending back to the warehouse.Maintain the Oil Stock triwalls to ensure they are not sent out without tags.Expected to be included in a weekend rotation schedule to ensure material movement is not causing production delays on the weekends.This job description reflects management's assignment of essential functions; it does not prescribe or restrict the tasks that may be assigned.MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS Minimum level of education required. High School Diploma or GEDMinimum number of year(s) of experience required in addition to education plus type(s) of functional experience. 2 yearsOther required type(s) of functional experience (e.g., Production/Operations, Accounting, Forklift Operator, Inventory Control, etc.) The 2 years of experience (from above) are needed as a forklift driver and with usage of an MRP system in the manufacturing environment.Required to have knowledge of SAP system and perform inventory transactions to ensure inventory accuracy, including confirmation of material receipt and usage.Required to use RF guns to maintain material movement accuracy.Required to change batteries of forklifts throughout the plant.
