Job Description:
TBEI - Tishomingo is a cutting-edge manufacturer of Class 3-8 truck bodies and truck and trailer hoists. Come join our growing team! As a Parts Expediter you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless flow of production by ensuring all necessary parts are available for assembly lines as scheduled. You will coordinate closely with production supervisors, purchasing, and other departments to mitigate shortages and maintain optimal inventory levels. This position requires attention to detail, effective communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Validate components from bills of materials for upcoming production schedules.
  • Coordinate and identify component shortages, communicating effectively with relevant departments.
  • Document shortages using expedite forms and ensure timely resolution.
  • Monitor and control inventory levels of controlled purchased materials.
  • Ensure timely delivery of parts to specified production lines and areas.
  • Must have the qualifications to pass and maintain forklift certification.

  • Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent; previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend instructions and blueprints. Effective communication skills to relay information clearly.
  • Mathematical Skills: Basic math skills including the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide. Ability to read a tape measure.
  • Reasoning Ability: Problem-solving skills with the ability to follow instructions in various formats.

  • Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to handle, reach with hands and arms.
  • Frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
