Dominion Energy South Carolina, Cope Station located in Cope, SC has a Material Fuel Handling Technician opening. Cope Station is a coal fire & natural gas facility. This is an entry level position responsible for loading and unloading of fuel (coal), miscellaneous utility work at the station, maintenance and grading of the fuel (coal) pile. Performs heavy lifting and outside work in inclement weather and in a noisy, dusty environment. Performs other duties as requested or assigned. Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience Minimum Requirements (Note: A partial year of related work experience of 6 months or greater will be considered one year towards the qualifications): Minimum of 0-2 years of related experience. Operating heavy equipment such as dozers and loaders and the ability to efficiently and effectively grade piles of materials (i.e. dirt, coal) preferred.
