Executes shipping and receiving duties, inventory, and material movement within the plant. Ensures correct loading, unloading, and movement of equipment, materials, and finished products. Pull and properly package all parts for shipment. Maintain and organize the inventory in the warehouse area by assigning all parts to the correct location in the JD Edwards ERP system.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintains a clean and safe work environment
- Handles paperwork and prepares materials for shipment to the proper location
- Performs daily shipping, warehousing, and receiving transactions and works to maintain process accuracy
- Demonstrates extensive knowledge of JD Edwards with respect for inventory control, shop floor control, and customer orders or equivalent warehouse management system (WMS)
- Maintains inventory accuracy through continuous cycle counts and accurate inventory transactions
- Performs periodic safety and maintenance inspections of vehicles, reporting all mechanical problems
- Other duties may be assigned.
Supervisory ResponsibilitiesThis position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.Education High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or a minimum of 12 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience with an emphasis in logisticsSkills/Experience
- Ability and certification to drive a forklift and order picker
- Ability to operate small hand tools and pallet bander
- Must possess valid driver's for state of residence and be insurable under the company's motor vehicle policy; must possess a Class C CDL or have ability to obtain one within first 30 days of hire date
- Must demonstrate PC skills and knowledge of JD Edwards or equivalent Warehouse Management Software.
- Proven experience in related field preferable
- Ability to support work hours to cover business needs require 10-hr days and some weekend overtime.
Travel Travel is not required.Shift9:00 am - 5:30 pm Monday through Friday.
