Job Overview The responsibility of the Material Handler is to proactively maintain flow of materials and products through a high volume, fast paced plant environment. Duties and ResponsibilitiesMoves, stores, and spaces materials as directedDelivers materials and molds to various departments and between plant locations following prescribed practice or instructionsAssists with loading and unloading materials and goods from incoming and outgoing trucksUses tow motor and hand truck to transport materialsFollows all safety requirementsQualifications1-2 years' experience in manufacturing preferredExperience and competency using tow motors requiredEffective communication skillsGood organizational skillsAbility to read and write proficiently in EnglishAbility to use hand and power toolsAbility to operate and maintain industrial equipmentWorking ConditionsAble to work in a hot humid environment for extended periods of time.This job is in a typical manufacturing environment, to include, but not limited to:```{=html}``` - Ovens, torches, and rotating tools```{=html}``` - Forklifts and other moving machinery```{=html}``` - Loud work environmentPhysical RequirementsMust be able to remain stationary with intermediate walking throughout the shift.Must be able to potentially lift up to 50lbs.Must be comfortable riding in a tow motor for an extended period of time.Must be able to perform movements such as walking, bending, twisting, pulling, turning, and standing.Equal Opportunity Employer - minorities/females/veterans/individuals with disabilities/sexual orientation/gender identity
